Matt thought a reminder was in order. Right around the corner. Sound off.

I'm planning on it!

Wow Bruce, how do you have pics of an event that is yet to happen? Must be some sort of alien conspiracy.

Paul, oh no, nothing that interesting. This is just the planning meeting held in advance of the meeting at Old Man's Shop, way last August. Don't you just love committee's!

Of course, since I'm new to building, I don't have a set of bubinga b/s to give everyone like Bruce did.    Sorry.    I thought it would be nice to reverse things this time and have all attendees give me a set of their favorite b/s woods.

Ron, my favorite is white pine. If there's a lumberyard within handy distance to your house, maybe we can go by and pick you out a "billet".

Glad you're coming, Jimmie!!   I think the food is under control. Matt is bringing drinks and I'm taking care of the rest. My wife is even making deserts.

Hmmmmm. Do you guys prefer bread pudding or cheesecake?

Ron

I've never had bread pudding. But I'd like to try it

Just about everyone loves a cheesecake. Hey, I've lost ten pounds, so maybe I can splurge and have a piece of pudding or cake? Oh Boy!

Edited by Bruce's Wife, just one piece! 23 Feb 2007

That's great, Cecil. So glad you going to join us. We'll shoot for 10 A.M., but I'm up around 6 or 7, so whenever. People are coming from all directions and I expect them to arrive at all times. It doesn't matter.

My wife and I don't drink, so the rum will be cooked down somewhat. Sorry.

Ron

Gettin' excited to hang out with you guys.

I don't have anything done to bring.

Maybe I'll just bring a picture of a guitar I'm gonna build someday!

Actually I've been working on my cabin, getting clean water flowing up there and beating back the animals who took over the cabin. Rats, mice, a possum, and Friday night my son crawls up in the attic to find himself face to face with a live squirrel. You should have heard him holler.

I'm still trying to recover from all the work Saturday. Just getting too old for this. Okay, next weekend, nuttin' but fun at Beebe. I'll be thinking up some new twist for you guys.

I've never had bread pudding but I am looking forward to seeing all of you again!

Ron, I wanna get a good look at your inlaying method that you mentioned earlier. Getting ready to do a bit of that on my latest as well.

Dave, my inlaying is 2nd or 3rd rate.    All you guys probably are better at it than me, but I did make a neat jig (to me anyway) for routing on a radiused board. I may be the last person on the forum to find a good way, as far as I know, but haven't seen anything posted.

Ron
